We know that students can face unexpected challenges, including financial pressure, food insecurity, travel emergencies, accommodation problems or difficulty accessing basic essentials. The ACS Student Support Fund is the society’s own route for modest, discreet help while that fund is being set up.

A request does not guarantee money. The welfare officer and treasurer look at each one together. This is not the University hardship fund, and it is not a loan. If ACS cannot cover it, you still get a signpost to the Students’ Union Advice Centre.
